Hello,
Anyone know what is the type of bulbs used in the instrument cluster panel? I was able to find the smaller ones which are a type #74, but in my case I need the larger ones. I think they may be a Type #73 but not 100% positive. Dealer want $8 a ...

Sounds like the instrument panel uses some firmware to run it and the firmware update went bad and they cant reflash the chip in it.

Instrument panel light I have a 97 marquis and the instrument panel(speedometer gage,temp gage,ect.) Its not lit at all. Pretty sure the bulb/bulbs blew. My question is how many light bulbs would I need to buy more then 2? Last edited by Mlee19841; 02...

I am most excited about obtaining a Fuhrertochterkompass be happening for a little while... .
Is that the whole panel is fully functioning (including the electric horizon) and I will be setting it up so form so that I can 'run' the whole panel.

The backlighting for the right hand gage in my instrument cluster is not lighting up. Can I replace the bulb or bulbs for this without replacing the whole instrument cluster? What type of bulb would it be... do I need to remove the cluster to get to it...

Best results would probably come from removing your panel and taking out the blue filters.
