Anyone have any experience with a tongue drum? There is one for sale locally and it's a hand carved wooden box to be played with mallets it's $100. Is there anyone who incorporates them into their "auxilary" sounds?

Back in elementary school they forced us I graduated....
I haven't had my it in college and haven't touched a musical instrument since.
Lately I've only been playing percussion, mostly mallet instruments.
I was in 4th grade.

Heard it through the grape vine from Dayton and Float that Tama is also coming out with the pit stuff mallets and concert equipment for the total package. They already make drum sets so this has now been exposed from a student of mine who talked to Float...

Material and manufacturing costs associated with creating mallet instruments would be astronomical.

I had my first practice yesterday, and I have to learn a four-mallet excercise when I can barely play in two octaves.
With marching band, my free time has been thrown out the window, because I have practice every two days in June.

At least for me I was in percussion so that switched things up a lot more than just playing one instrument in it weird.
