Just curious, besides the question of whether or not to allow musical instruments as part of a worship service are there any significant differences between the beliefs of the Independent Christian Churches (not the DOC's) and the Churches of Christ??...

The remaining conservatives split into COC and ICC based on the musical instrument there...But from what I have seen, the question of musical instruments is the only real difference.

Is a music teacher and encouraged us to learn new instruments! Clarinet was the only one I had lessons the violin.

Slightly stoned and feeling the love for music I have decided to learn piano accordian, violin, viola and cello. The violin and viola are similar (Same tuning I think) just different registers. The cello is the closest instrument...

My oldest is in 5th grade and the school requires every kid to participate in music class and learn at least one instrument. They play 2 big concerts a year (this afternoon is the grand finale).
