Our plan is a private family plan, not group insurance.

I know many of you choose an outside vendor for your travel insurance. I know that if you want "pre-exisiting conditions" covered, that you have to buy the insurance within 10 days of booking the cruise.

Firstly, do you have to be told specifically that a car is insured in order to drive it? Namely a company van. If so I have never had the insurance situation explained to me, or seen certificates, when renting a car.
