Howdy,
There is an option to enable the Portable Wifi Hotspot within the settings. I would like to test it out, but don't want to get hit with some additional fee. If I turn this function on, will I get charged by Sprint? When I tap "help" it just says...

There is an additional $29.99 p/m in order to activate it, But you can from your account page add/remove it on an as needed bases and only be charged for the days activated... .
Unless it is added/activated on your account it will do nothing if you turn it on .

You'll need to make sure a dhcp client listening on the service provider wifi link on the first router, and a dhcp server on the other router.
Simple really - just cable two wifi routers together via ethernet.
