Sample Chatter Excerpts
What to wear for job interview?
Look at what the employees are wearing, then wear something similar to your interview. Look at what the employees are wearing, then wear something similar to your interview. source
What is asked in the 3rd step of a job interview?
If nobody's asked you the goal-oriented, big picture stuff, or what makes you want to work for them in particular, it'll probably include that stuff. Otherwise, it may just be a rehash of other questions, in my experience. source
Is the person that interviews the best, the best person for the job?
That may or may not be the case, but there is no excuse for not having good interveiw skills IMO. There are plenty of books and internet articles on how to ace interviews. The interviewer only knows you from the short time he has to talk to you, so you have to make a good impression in a short period of time. source
Who gives job interviews?
Not sure if this post is specific to the education forum. Are you asking with regards to hiring at schools or hiring in general? source
Got a call for an interview but forgot which job I applied for?
The company obviously knows you applied in more than one department, so that cat is out of the bag. You can call the lady who called you and just flat out ask since it is a legitimate question in your case. Or you can be slightly more sneaky and find out who will be interviewing you and look them up to find out which department. But really, in this case, you should not be embarrassed. source
