Intj

I just wanted to throw in here that I too am an INTJ musician and believe there are a good number of us - maybe especially in classical music. In my experience, we start a little later than most, develop technically very quickly, then hit an emotional wall sometime in our late teens or early twenties. Those that break through the barrier and learn to be vulnerable on stage make fascinating performers. I nominate Martha Argerich and Glenn Gould as INTJs. Also composers Arnold Shoenberg and Prokofiev, maybe even Stravinsky come to mind. Mahler not so much - more of an INFJ in my estimation. source

I've kept someone around for sex, but it was only for a few months. I've also had a relationship where the sex was ridiculous and it kept me around for longer than I would have stayed otherwise, she was a total nag and pain in the ass but ridic in bed. source

I just read his wikipedia entry and I can see it now. He has that INTJ desire for self-improvement and bettering yourself. The TJ are clear from that, he always sets goals for different time spans and works hard to achieve them. I think his N is small and he seems more reserved so he could be an I. source

Excited and goofy around friends, stoic and blunt around unknowns. I'm pretty jumpy though and sometimes you will be able to tell what I think just by looking at my face. source

I think perhaps we should wait for more information before engaging in random speculation. We've practically got the guy in a straitjacket already. source
