I have an iPhone with 3.0.1 firmware that has been Jailbroken, can I update iTunes to version 9 or will 'badness' happen?

When prompted to download and upgrade the iPhone to OS 3.1, don't do so.
I've upgraded to iTunes 9, and haven't had any problems.

I'm going to format my computer soon and plugging the iphone in the fresh itunes installation will erase all data/settings from it, correct?
Is there a way to move the iphone backup data from the old itunes to the new itunes? things like calendar items...

Just format, reconnect, choose the options necessary to copy the data back from the iphone....
That said, there's no need to move the iphone backup data over to the new itunes.
The data off the iPhone and re-use it when you plug it in.

Or open System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items and remove the "iTunesHelper" entry. .
Uncheck the box.
Open iTunes> Preferences>iPod>General tab and look at the bottom.

When I connect my iPhone 3GS to my MacBook Pro, iTunes "freezes": the spinning beachball appears, and it will not respond to any mouse clicks or key presses. Activity Monitor shows iTunes as "Not Responding".

So everything is "fixed" for the time being.
After I let it sit with iPhone connected and iTunes frozen for about twenty minutes, iTunes finally unfroze, and synched the iPhone.

My iPhone is synced with my home PC which is all working fine. What I want to do is plug my iPhone into my work mac and have it charge but not do any syncing.
The problem is that when I plug the iPhone into the mac it loads up iTunes. I understand that...

Is there any way to prevent iTunes from starting under XP when an iPhone is plugged in? Using iTunes v 9. Usually I just want to charge my phone and don't want iTunes to start.

Deselect one time, without changing settings:
Open iTunes, connect iPhone to your computer, then press.
In iTunes, select iPhone in the sidebar, then click the Summary tab.

Apps don't normally (primary and secondary) during your submission....
The name that is displayed on the iPhone beneath the icon is set in the "Product Name" build entered as the App Name in iTunes Connect is shown in iTunes and the App Store.

The fix was enabling.
If it does, you will need to make any firewall exception for iTunes...
After enabling & restarting iTunes, iPhone Remote & iTunes effect...
It was an "open network" and disabled this option.

How can I syncronize my iPhone with 2 iTunes (one at work running on Windows, and another at home on a Mac).
I just need to sync photos, music and apps with both. Calendar comes from Google.

Not running virtual iTunes on the Win7 host as iTunes doesn't pick up the fact a USB device has iTunes on a 'disposable....
You can run iTunes in the XP vm and update the iPhone but you can only do this with the VM running ie.
