Santa brought me an iPod Touch (OS v3.1.2, Model MC series). I was wondering if it is possible to jailbreak it through a Linux machine (Ubuntu Karmic).

You can setup a VM under Linux and try that option but better off doing.

Hey guys,
I've heard about both Linux and Ubuntu, and I don't know anything about either except that they are OS'es. Anyone care to elaborate the differences for me, or explain pros and cons of each? Thank you very much for your time.
