My ipod broke and i am trying to figure out which new one to get:
my current library is: 30 GB music, 7 GB Video, 10 GB photos
so i have about 48 GB being used. i am trying to figure out, do i go with the:
160 GB classic or the 64 GB itouch.

If it's the second points, get the iPod Touch.
The app store?
If it's the first points you want, get the iPod Classic.
If you are not rapidly expanding your media library, the iPod Touch is the way to go.

Dedicated PDA's seem to have disappeared. Last time I saw one was about 5 or 6 years back. Has the smart phone killed them off?

I know someone started a topic about this around a year ago. But that thread ended and no solution was found. So as a year has passed I thought some more solutions may be around.

I'd like to know how you "hacked" your iPod touch.
The iPod touch does this as well.
I have a PDA phone that is capable of reading PDFs.

does only the critical PDA things, and does them automagically.
Of the iPhone (so that it's a good deal
less expensive than the iPod Touch) and offers a special low
unlimited and an iPhone.

Now that the iPod Touch 4th generation has a camera (actually 2 cameras), I am now finally able to assume that it finally trumps the TH55/E1 for capability!
I haven't used my TH55 for a long time, but I've always missed the built-in microphone and camera...

Instead, I use MessageEase, though it requires looking at the screen .
The best part now is why pay hundreds for a iPod touch when I can get a good CLIE for less than using Graffiti 2.
