AMSOIL - Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid (MTF) I did a fluid swap to Amsoil Synthetic ATF, completely changed the transmission; now the transmission shift so smooth and easily.

The PCM (Powertrain Control Module)....
There is no separate TCM in this truck.
Fourth gear IS overdrive, so you can't be shifting between making the proper torque it will affect the transmission operation.
Your transmission is a four speed.

Generally speaking, you have three things you can do to this transmission - check the fluid level a new torque converter, a transmission rebuild, or both.

Not sure if this is a problem or not but I just noticed it today. When I'm stopping and the truck is down shifting the shifts are a little firm and the rpms jump about 1000 with each shift( like a Manual rev matching). I don't think I would really notice...

Okay so today I was racing this guy in a z71 and beat his as off the line. Then once I started to hit 100 it started struggling to go any faster. Could it be transmission issues? CAI not working right? Or fuel pump needing to be replaced? Please help ...
