Hey guys just joined to ask a question. I just received the pedal all excited and the green side there is quite alot of feedback and when I turn the volume off on the guitar the amp humms and the red side wow a nasty loud humming and I can't even play...

I find it only lasts a day,
to me the Jemini is really an overdrive, I know Steve Vai calls it a distortion but i know better than creamy lead tone.
I have the jemini and mine is very quiet, no buzz or hum.

Hey guys. I use a line 6 spider valve hd100 MKII half stack and since the epic fail with the vai jemini pedal I would love some advice on what the best pedal is for creamy lead. That goes with my gear. Thanks alot

I can't comment on the others....
Maxon OD808 gets my vote.
Everyone seems to stick with tubescreamers, and tubescreamer clones (Maxon) .
Maxon 808, and all kinds of Ibanez tubecreamers seem to be popular .
I play use a TS9 (a Japanese one, is that special?) .
