I'm in week five of Optifast, and as of my week four weigh-in, I'm down almost 15 pounds. The diet was suggested to me by my doctor after numerous attempts at Weight Watchers and other reputable programs. I have more hope and a better outlook now than...

I am using it at the moment to kick start my body as with PCOS & underactive thyroid it can be a hard road.

Wondering if there is anyone on here from Canada. I am in the optifast prep stages with surgery booked on June 8 at St. Joseph's in Hamilton. Would love to touch base with members and find out if anyone cheated at all when on the optifast .

I would kill just for a V8 juice right about now, hate artificial.
How long did you have to do it.
Definitely the hardest part be.
Optifast was horrific.
I had surgery on January 17th at Humber.

As with any other Diet you are advised to have HCP support /Approval
600kcal liquid diet (Optifast)/(slimfast) Plus 200kcal Veg so its really a 800kcal per day diet
