There are, infamously ,not a lot of rules on lichdom and associated accouterments, and as a result, I have some questions.
You'll make a phylactery and pay the 120k and 4800xp (ouch! dread necromancer, you never looked so good!) and then you have you ...

So, about the phylactery...
Ok, let's assume Redcloak raised Tsukiko question as a con to make Xykon gloss over the issue of 'new chain and handsome leather case' (seriously, couldn't he even discard the case? Also, what was the point of his praise of...

What would you make your phylactery?
Howdy,
Now, before you all go reaching for the sourcebooks and D20s, this isn't about making a super-indestructable phylactery.
Instead, I'm curious as to what you regard as your most treasured possession and why ...

As the title says, what would happen? Up until this point I've always assumed that Xykon would survive until his body is destroyed at which point he would reach his final rest. But today I figured that it literally contains Xykon's soul, so destroying...

Now that 831 is published I am super confused?
1. If Redcloak were to give Xykon a phylactery anyway (does not matter if it is fake), why the secrecy with the resistance and the earthquake and killing the polymorphed goblin spy?
Redcloak is simply taking...

Sooo I've heard, so far, of two people who ascended into adult by using the Phylactery unknowing what it does because the quest told them to. It just says to "Use your phylactery" I think. I want to suggest here to change the quest text a bit to say, ...

So... why , exactly, did Redcloak heavily imply that he wanted no witnesses (other than the devils)? If he's on the up-and-up, I can't see why "I massacred the Resistance" should be such a secret. Is he going to hide the phylactery from Xykon?

Evil though she may be, Tsukiko does still worship the 12 gods of the southern zodiac as one of their clerics. Redcloak just divulged the plan for his god to hold the other gods hostage to a cleric of the southern gods. Don't you think that's information...
