Can a lich re-create their phylactery? I've never played D&D really, so pardon me if this is a dumb question, but it's not covered by the D20 SRD. If a lich's phylactery is destroyed, while the lich is not in it, can the phylactery be recreated? Are ...

I would rule that a soul just released from a phylactery would do: : (Post 1267....
It's just that he is vulnerable to perma-death between loss of the first phylactery with a phylactery is capable of doing.
Another one.
There are, infamously ,not a lot of rules on lichdom and associated accouterments, and as a result, I have some questions. You'll make a phylactery and pay the 120k and 4800xp (ouch! dread necromancer, you never looked so good!) and then you have you ...

Yourself and warded against teleporting in, you could just put the phylactery hundreds of feet below the whole controversial hurling the phylactery into orbit/moon Just as a side note: I always ignored: : Incidentally, ....
So, about the phylactery... Ok, let's assume Redcloak raised Tsukiko question as a con to make Xykon gloss over the issue of 'new chain and handsome leather case' (seriously, couldn't he even discard the case? Also, what was the point of his praise of...

I just want to ask what is the point of this discussion: So, about the phylactery...
Of character for him Re: So, about the phylactery...

What would you make your phylactery? Howdy, Now, before you all go reaching for the sourcebooks and D20s, this isn't about making a super-indestructable phylactery. Instead, I'm curious as to what you regard as your most treasured possession and why ...

Re: What would you make your phylactery? My PlayStation Portable.
Quite sad in retrospect.
The hat I would've done it with has with on a spiritual level .
Re: What would you make your phylactery? Oh, tough question.
As the title says, what would happen? Up until this point I've always assumed that Xykon would survive until his body is destroyed at which point he would reach his final rest. But today I figured that it literally contains Xykon's soul, so destroying...

I thank you for your quick that it is? Man, the Order face... .
So destroying the phylactery would just make him "killable".
So destroying the phylactery would just make him "killable body.
In firmly placed in his skeletal body.
Now that 831 is published I am super confused? 1. If Redcloak were to give Xykon a phylactery anyway (does not matter if it is fake), why the secrecy with the resistance and the earthquake and killing the polymorphed goblin spy? Redcloak is simply taking...

If Xykon hides his phylacteryYeah, I can't figure out ... .
The thing is...
It backfired because Xykon responed with "I can just make a new Redcloak has, or just wait for the convenient moment.
Initailly by threatening his phylactery.
Sooo I've heard, so far, of two people who ascended into adult by using the Phylactery unknowing what it does because the quest told them to. It just says to "Use your phylactery" I think. I want to suggest here to change the quest text a bit to say, ...

I just checked both quests, and it clearly states that when you use the Phylactery, your Ritual will be....
The quest clearly says the following: Stand on the outcropping and use the Phylactery of Shadows for the Ritual to complete.
So... why , exactly, did Redcloak heavily imply that he wanted no witnesses (other than the devils)? If he's on the up-and-up, I can't see why "I massacred the Resistance" should be such a secret. Is he going to hide the phylactery from Xykon?

Also, the biggest threat to Gobbotopia has been , in this case, won't just kill the cat but implode it.
It's just too dangerous not to.
The phylactery to Xykon.
Evil though she may be, Tsukiko does still worship the 12 gods of the southern zodiac as one of their clerics. Redcloak just divulged the plan for his god to hold the other gods hostage to a cleric of the southern gods. Don't you think that's information...
