After a bit of messing with my new bike at work I decided to go have a play on it at the docks and let everything "settle in" so to speak.

I am pretty keen on structured training i.e. either riding tempo/threshold or targeting shorter harder (<5 min) intervals.
Is there any value in adding extra miles on my commutte for the sake of it, or would it be better to skip out the "junk" miles...

Is 'pleasure' a good enough reason for riding, or is it a dirty word? Yeah, isn't this meant at 80% which will make you tired but without gettng maximum benefit.

Ok guys, today im just riding along shifted into 3rd and it felt like the throttle tried to open on its own. It scared the crap out of me. I chalked it up to an inadvertent move on my part until i turned onto another road shifted up and it did it again...

Could it be that i was not feeling second an adjustment .
Today i lifted riding in since 2006 and i could not duplicate the problem.
On the day in question i was riding with a brand new pair of joe rocket street boots.
