Right now i use either HttpWebRequest or WebClient to download files. I would like to see how many kbytes per second i am currently downloading at. How may i do this?

Whenever I want to download something, I always have to stop and start the download because/community/Repositories/Ubuntu look for the heading "Download Server" and follow the instructions changing the repository, this will aloow....

1 Megabits (Mb) = 1024 kilobits (kb), To convert to kilobytes....
With line-protocol overhead, sometimes, but most of the time I get about 2-300kb/s .
Arround 1024 / 8 = 128 kilobytes (kB) download speed, so 100 kB is great.
Any ideas what the average user's download speed is? I'm working on a site that streams video and am trying to figure out what an average download speed as to determine quality. I know i might be comparing apples with oranges but I'm just looking for ...

Although when the planets align I've gotten as much as 2 MB/sec (the "quoted" peak downlink ....
They have data by state, so if you have money then you can, I typically get 200-300 kB/sec.
US resident has a 1.9Mbps download speed.
