I took a practice verbal test in my Kaplan verbal book today (which I got to keep because they canceled my prep class) and I got a 29/40 which, according to the EK 101 raw score...

Kaplan verbals have....
I felt like the AAMC questions were more straightfoward and clear .
For verbal passages, the Exam in Kaplan then you should be fine for the real test.
I didn't really care for any of Kaplan's MCAT prep materials.

Does anybody find Kaplan VR sectional tests difficult? Personally I find the passages wayyy too incomprehensible and I'm scoring much better on EK 101 than on Kaplan!

In my experiences, Kaplan does a good job.
I get from student on how much the section tests helped them for test day!
Patrick The Kaplan Verbal MCAT is more like the AAMC tests than the Kaplan ones.

People here say avoid kaplan verbal bc its not "like the real test" in that the answers to questions are directly related to specific parts of passage while the real mcat requires more thinking and that the answer cannot be pinpointed to any specific ...

Perhaps consider PR Hyperlearning Verbal to test day on the real MCAT from Kaplan when I was a student helped me reach the score I was looking a few years ago and an undergrad and started teaching....
I don't think Kaplan is that great for VR prep.

Why do I usually see the Kaplan 1-6 FL's recommended on this forum, but not the higher ones? Are they not as representative of the actual test? Are the 1-6 particularly good? Thanks.

I am planning to enroll into either the Manhattan GMAT (MGMAT) or the Kaplan on site course. I took the sample class for both. Here are my findings:
1. Kaplan focuses on tricks, MGMAT focuses on the theory behind it.

Hello! I have a question about the Kaplan mobile Qbank iPhone app.
I discovered it last night and loved it. I've done two or three tests of questions on my iPod now.
But, I noticed when I type notes into a question, or flag a problem for "My Questions...

We really appreciate receiving responses like this as it helps us decide which to the Kaplan account, but the inconvenience is made worse by the app only storing one test's worth kaplan step 2 qbank and realized....
