I'm as much of a Kennedy supporter as there is out there, and even I can't say with a straight face that Kennedy will be as good as the other two. His stuff is solid all around with excellent control and command, but his stuff simply isn't "electric" enough as a guy like Hughes, no less Joba. Joba's stuff can be the most electric in the majors if all goes well, similarly to Verlander. I would agree that Kennedy is the most polished, but he doesn't have the potential that the other two have, mainly Joba. source

I think they have serious OL problems - they can run block some, but have turnstiles in the place of pass blockers - and I think that is the primary problem with Palmer. He may also be getting a little gun shy from all the hits he takes, as being fairly immobile behind a weak set of blockers can do to you in the NFL. I don't think that Palmer is through, and think Caldwell will show a lot more as the WR2 in his third year. But if they can't figure out pass blocking and won't pay Zimmer, this year was probably a ceiling for the Lewis era. source
