If not, try to find a cheap keyboard on eBay and the like .
If it's still under Applecare, get it replaced under warranty .
If the control-p combination doesn't generate a keycode, sounds like a faulty keyboard .

Cvs -z3 -d:pserver....
Keybinding and other stuff are same as linux version.
Original emacs from cvs works perfectly.
Don't bother installing the ports.
Fn+Delete works like forward delete.
On a Mac delete works like "backspace" on a PC .
Fn+Delete should work.

I downgraded from widows 7 pro to xp, but now want to install windows 7 pro agian, but the sticker thingy on the PC doesnt have the product key but only an tracking id, what do i do if i want to reboot back to the original windows 7 pro????

Hi
I have a Macbook Pro 13 Inch and I seem to be having problems with the left shift key.
The Left Shift key seems to sometimes not work which is quite annoying. The right shift key works fine.

Otherwise, there's no way to repair just a single key, only at the prompt and using that shift key.

I do remember mapping several key strokes to one_key reports what key is pressed using the two kptab tables (kptab and ext_kptab), so, by setting the second highest bit in the byte....
Could come back as 'UP_ARROW','Esc_UP', 'Cntrl_K'.

So i have a few windows xp keys they are all pro keys. They all came off old machines i was throwing away. Those machines used a 32bit install of xp (though they did support 64bit) So i was wondering if i could use that same key for installing windows...

A retail product key can be used for either the 32-bit version of Windows or the 64-bit version, but not both at the same time....
Of a retail product key, it can be transferred providing Windows has been removed from the original computer.
