I am considering purchasing this style keyboard with the split keys.
I found it a bit awkward to use at first but I'm sure I will get used to it. That's the problem.

I used my buddies keyboard while I visited him for about a week and I can say that I came back to a normal keyboard without any problems what-so-ever.

The only keyboard hook supported for .NET managed code is a low-level keyboard hook (WH_KEYBOARD_LL).

Unlock the Function button on top of the Numkey pad, then use the F6/Close key ;)
trouble is it takes 2 button presses - was just looking for a single button press maybe using the user defined buttons 1 to 5 to quickly close tabs / windows etc. .

I was going to say a Foldup keyboard, they have the tactile feedback (although not as good as a keyboard) and are "alright....
But after in actual use.
Laser keyboard is a no no! They are fun for the first word or to use on a train...

For the first time in my entire life yesterday, I accidentally spilled some latte in my ergonomic keyboard.
The keys are starting to stick a bit now, and I was just wondering if there was some way to get those keys unstuck short of buying a new keyboard...

Avoid....
(This is very important!) the keyboard itself will take quite some time to dry out and may need, but it does tend to work well.
When you've removes all the keys, soak them and the keyboard.
From numeric keypad and work your way left.

I just found out that my IOGEAR KVM switch (GCS22U) doesn't work with my Apple slim aluminum keyboard. This is really frustrating because I now have a KVM that works with Ubuntu and Snow Leopard, except that the keyboard isn't recognized by Snow Leopard...
