There isn't a lot of info out on the new Google AdPlanner. But it clearly makes site research and media planning simpler (assuming it is accurate and the sites it recommends deliver appropriately). However, I'm a bit perplexed on how some people think...

Hi,
We are running RedHat 3.4.6(x32) on VMWareEsx3.5(x64) with 6GB RAM. A few java processes(including jboss) are running in the background.
The problem is that the java processes consume lots of memory, and sometimes they are killed by the OOM-killer...

A killer app is an app that make a library or framework famous. I think web.py is quite famous, but I don't know any big, widely used app written in web.py.

I understand that on Linux there is a kernel functionality referred to as "OOM Killer". When the OOM (Out-Of-Memory) condition subsides , is there such a thing as a "Process Resurrector" ?
I understand this functionality would be difficult to implement...

Of course is that OOM killer only comes into play ....
It's a killer, you just have to deal with it.
You can restart it (resources permitting back from the OOM killer.
Once a process is killed by the OOM Killer, it's dead.

As a subversion user, git's index is the most challenging new concept I'm facing as I consider using it for new projects. I read many people's comments saying that they don't use the Index (always commit -a) but I'm thinking there might be a killer reason...
