Simple facts:
1) I had bilateral PFR about 5 and a half years ago
2) My right knee has had some problems over the past 3 years
3) Last week I did something to my right knee at work
4) Since then the pain has gotten worse
5) I am experiencing sharp pain...

Hubby is very much a beginner, but has a nice Billy Cook with the fenders twisted so the stirrups lie correctly. He's been complaining of knee pain. Most of his riding is done at a walk with a bit of slow trot. Very little bit.
I've never has knee pain...

Since you "twisted" your knee, my best guess (without treatment right away.
They will hook you up with ultrasound, maybe even laser treatment .
More money, but your knee will get better in that little amount of time.

My right knee has flared up pretty badly. I don't usually get any knee problems, but after a 3hr cross ride on Friday there was a little bit of tightness behind my knee. Did a 2hr road ride on Saturday no problem, followed by a 3hr road ride on Sunday...
