Hello,
I have now found out that in Finland I can take with me knitting needles made of bamboo or plastic - even in my hand luggage. The needles made of metal must be packed inside the luggage.
My question is: how is the situation in other countries? ...

But Daarth is correct carry on both metal and plastic knitting needles.

So I have a patchwork quilt top that I cut in two to make curtains....but dh does not like the patchwork look.

EUC newborn and small fitted s. a lot of 10-12 of them
lil joeys or similar. something that can snap down for umbilical cord

1/9 added some more trimmings with pricing and info.
12/28 added a couple of fancy trimmings. Still have not updated pricing on buttons- but if interested, I will let you ...

Hi,
Can anyone help with how to knit a flat circle on straight needles? I know this can be done as did this a while ago but seem to have lost the pattern. I know you have a seam to sew up at the end, which runs from the centre of the circle to the outside...

The torque from the motor would probably slowly chew away some material.. .
I wonder how well the 3mm will hold up as a main shaft? Not too sure about using it as a main shaft, as it is quite a soft metal .

My baby is 8 1/2 months old and VERY interested in anything I do. No matter if I do the dishes, read a book or knit her socks, she wants to HAVE IT. 'Having' for her means 'putting it in her mouth' and that makes it very hard to share many of the items...

I love my shiny metal needles because the yarn slides easily and I can knit://www.justgiving.com/BBM....
Needles are such a personal preference thing though.
But it's not conscious so I'd have to watch myself knit to be sure.
