older 1983 book,"More Knitting in Vogue". Maybe there was an earlier volume?!

As a beginner, it is really frustrating to look through knitting books for patterns that are easy
. So many books start out with a few scarf and hat patterns and then quickly progress to sweaters
).
There are endless easy/beginner patterns there, and I think you'll be as delighted as I.
Happy knitting
