Knock knock knock.... Thought you may like to see my little drama I am having with the ute.
It's had a rattle for ages now and I thought it was the tensioners and chains. I changed these out and put in an updated oil pump at the same time.
It didn't cure...

Struggling huge on -05 EDM STI
lowrange false knocking and very rought ride at around 2400rpm.
tried to tune any imagined way and looked some logging-info too, nothing seems to be wrong at around 2400rpm but still jerky ride...
False knocking is probably...

Hi I finally got my 1952 Willys Jeep started after changing fuel pump and filing the points sounded really good but knock knock knock 10 pounds oil preasure.
Ok i been looking for a reasonable price crankshat kit and oil pump and the prices sceared me...

Oops yeah forgot to add that bit! The noise is indeed worse with right lock .
What were the results of your slow speed 360's? Normally the biggest sign of CV joint failure is the knocking noise when on full lock.

Odd one this... When maneuvering or pulling away if the revs drop below the normal idling point I get a rhythmic knocking, the odd thing is it's coming from the EGR valve! If I pull the pipe off the knocking disappears entirely but the EML comes on after...
