I'm planning to run a J&S Safeguard with stock Motronic engine management on my 3.2 Carrera. At some point down the road, I'll probably run an aftermarket EFI that can handle two knock sensors and attach them to the heads via some 993 cylinder bridges...

Hi guys. I've got a UK r170 slk 230 and has got really sluggish and jutters once in a while.
Today I linked it up to a diagnostics computer and have found the code P0325 (knock sensor 1 circuit).

Hey guys where is the knock sensor wire located on the ECM plug. Going to run a new wire back to the ecm from the sensor and the wire is not the same type at the ecm there is no black shielded wire on any of the plugs. I'm in the garage right now looking...

Hi peeps , i hope someone can help me here , yesterday i had one changed , the one next to the intake on the right if looking from the back of the engine , cleared the code and drove about 20 miles , scanned the codes again and all sorted . went out again...

You really might just have a bad sensor or wire or connection then. Particularly if it comes on immediately. What I have been talking about would be something that would happen as you were running it.
