If it's that loud I very much doubt it's the exhaust just swinging around a bit and turned to the right he could hear something....

I had this too.
I get this a lot as whenever I adjust my outflow pipe, as it is right next to the front glass.
The pipes to see if they're tapping the glass.

Send it back to whoever you brought it from for a replacement, it should be free and they should collect it from you .
If you do not get it working then do not RMA through Corsair as it will cost you a fair bit as they have no offices over here .

Once the bike has passed its M.O.T.
Alot of people who may have loud pipes may either swaps the loud pipes for the quiet ones.
Obviously modified(DIY) and too loud( straight-thro's).
