Chicken and meat have to be labeled as kosher and the animals would have been slaughtered a certain way.
Kosher means it was approved by a rabbinical board and was prepared in a specific way to be clean.

LIfesavers are usually not kosher.
Wheat Thins? The brand? No, they are not kosher for passover and if I remember right, are not even kosher.

Some of the better restaurants serve "real" kosher bacon, made from lamb bellies.
It's as wonderful as you imagine.

To real bacon but I find the Beef Fry from Romanian Kosher in Chicago to be excellent - cured in house I was in Florida I saw them in the meat section at Kosher Kingdom in Miami).

This is because not contain a kosher symbol.
Unless it has a specific symbol, gold tequila should not be considered kosher.
