You can get a kit to know where you stand Ph wise for $15 or so? Hey thanks for the advice .
It is not expensive.
And definitely get your soil tested.
Look into hydroseeding.

Among other things many of them do not let you set the scales and they restrict the size plot you can draw .
Most are under $50.
There are a number of retail programs out there for doing residential landscapes but I haven't cared much for them.

My two large dogs love to run , (they are not digging up the yard) but unfortunately my yard is now dirt. As soon as the snow melts I need to redo the yard.
Planting grass will not work. Sod... dogs will destroy. Any landscaping ideas that dogs cannot...

Has anyone here ever attempted to construct your own landscape lighting fixtures?
I'm thinking one could build them out of PVC pipe if you could figure out a way to seal them against the weather. I'm sure the electrical components could be found online...
