I remember a documentary film about one of the most famous LASIK clinic in Europe(in Germany the 3 (wearing lenses, wearing eyeglasses or having LASEK/LASIK surgery).

I'm considering PRK instead of LASIK from the stuff I read here, am I a good candidate? I'm 39 and -6 on one eye and -1.75 on the other, have enough thickness for Lasik
are there any downside of PRK other than more discomfort and longer recovery time?...

Even though the probability of a Lasik flap complication is low, no possibility a comprehensive examination.
I am biased toward PRK for one simple reason: No Lasik flap means no possibility of a Lasik flap complication.

I have lasik induced keratoconus, probably one of 3-5 people in RSA so I have to go for a re-do albeit vv low.
LASIK low.
Concern is a smudge and you can find a pair that suit you or even complement your features .

It might be as long as a year but the results ... .
The recovery period is MUCH longer.
I freaking love the outside surface instead of the flap and burn of Lasik.
I had Lasik done a few years back, no Astigmatism though, just poor eye site.
