Last minute questions....well, not that last minute :)
I am leaving in 30 days, but when you have been planning something for 8 months it seems so close now!!!! I was wondering if Clearwater Beach was a 'casual' place? I am trying to decide on what type clothes to pack us. Should I bring dressy stuff or are...

It's exactly one mile from your motel to Shephards, however, it took me almost 25 minutes to drive it took you 25 minutes to drive 1 mile! Wow.
I guess traffic is bad.
:) We will definitely be walking don't have that updated info since....

Wot if, Last minute and other last minute accom sites
I know some great deals are available at the last minute and up to 2 weeks before staying at most accomodation, do you think I would be risking my chances of finding somewhere really nice to stay if I wait until 2 weeks beforeI travel.

The various last minute sites now last minute deals weeks before.

Is possible....but the cost for a last minute international flight at Christmas time might discourage but even with the cancellation penalty likely lower than a last minute airport ticket.

We found a great last minute deal thru I travel 2000 last Feb, yourtraveltickets.com, belairtravel.com and redtag.ca.
Redtag seems to be the easiest to use to find last min.

Better to book resort early or wait for last-minute-deal? - Punta Cana
We will be getting married in early May and then off to Punta Cana ! We were wondering, if it were better to find something and book now, or possibly wait until to the end of April and look for last minute specials? We are a little worried about outlaying...

I have found that the last minute deals are often at the lower quality resorts.
The nicer places may deals right now for May.
We always go in may...and we do last minute because the deals are great to increase as the date....

Does booking last minute = street view rooms at Coz Palace?
Quick question for the CP experts. Do you think that booking a room at CP at the last minute means we are more likely to get a street view room? Their website says they have Jr. Suites avail with ocean view....but if the hotel gets booked up are we more...

From what I recall, Cozumel Palace doesn't have "street views".
The room entrances are facing the street, but I believe they all face the ocean.
Not to start up another post about street view at CP...but they DO have a handful of street view rooms that....
