I want my movieclip to play once and stop on the last frame. I use the following code in the loop of my movieclip class. (this is as3)
if(currentFrame == 120) stop();
120 is the last frame. It plays once. but the problem is it goes back to frame 1 again...

Based on your example I'm presuming you have a class a stop() to the last frame on the timeline manually, then you can use the undocumented addFrameScriptHi numerical25,

Writing an application with command line interface and I would like to know at any time if F1 or esc or an arrow key is pressed. What is the simplest way of doing this. I would like to avoid using readline type library.

My dust collector (an old inexpensive one) make a squealing sound after I turn it off and it is spinning down. This only occurs for the last 10 - 15 seconds of spinning to a stop. There is no metal grinding sound.
Is this a sign of imminent failure?
