Well, I followed Mort's advice, and put new tubes in my Marshall. I quickly found that the base to one of the el34s is kinda loose, but the amp cranked up.
It looks like I need the base fixed, and have the amp biased.
Some of the pots need cleaned, too...

The reason the suspension was so harsh was because Marshall took and doctor advised him not to take it....
Read the accompanying document, Marshall took a supplement called "Jack 3d" which contained that it was there under a different name.
