I have similar problem, only my it's for a lawn rather than a food....

Are these meant to run all day?
We do weekly maintence on residential homes and do not need a whole lot of power. I am looking for durabliity that is light weight.

I have 2 and one is one season old and I liked it so much I bought another at the beginning of this season... .
If my Redmax dealer wasn't so far away, I'd keep buying them .
No problems whatsoever.
Used everyday.
Have one going on its third season this summer.
