Wanna buy a new TV, hat is the difference between LED, Plasma or LCD?

I have a plasma, but I really want a LED or LCD now...I`ve seen difference in the picture quality.
LED and LCD are the type of screen display.
I could be wrong though.
I BELIEVE Plasma goes against the wall.

Aside as I like LED LCD better, the pure weight of a 70" Plasma will be more than what most people Panny plasma is over $2,000 and your "guess" is that a 70 inch will be around $2,000? 75 inch Panny plasma is a dream at this....

What are the benefits of these, and do they all require this backlight function? I know someone who bought a LCD and thought the picture was dull, and after they turned off the power saver which is the backlight I am led to believe the picture was fine...

There is always a continual battle between plasma and LCD (both types) protagonists, I'm Hz, they are irrelevant....
Plasma has no backlight, LCD screens are LCD screens with LEDs.
Ignore claims of 600 Hz, they are irrelevant.

It's still better than any LCD regardless of "HzIn my mind plasma is the go-to choice with the single exception of a very bright room.
Panasonic Plasma S1 and you couldn't tear it away from me.
I thought plasma was bad? i have always been warned by shop staff to avoid plasma like the plague! because its unsafe for in your house, and if you put it on pause for evan half an hour its stains the screen forever? then all of a sudden you rarley found...

I would be interested to see a technology limitation comparison between LCD, LCD w/Led, and Plasma), but the number of zones cover a number of pixels and so a star field would look better on Plasma than LCD-LED burn....
