Cool! How's the quality of the Canon lens adapter? Does it offer focus confirmation? That camera is very good! I have yet to try and take a picture with any Canon lenses or the adapter though Nex-7

Good day all,
I just upgraded my E-500 to an E-520. I bought my E-500 over 4 or 5 years ago with the 2 lenses. I got the E-520 starter kit with the lenses as well but I noticed some differences. The most noticeable difference is in the size and weight...

For awhile the old lens w the E-500.
I should warn you that you won't get much for the E-500 and 14-45mm lens .
I also noticed that the 40-150mm lens have lenses.
lenses are way smaller and lighter than the the E-500 ones.

Sold Summaron f3.5 and Summaron f2.8.
Bought Canon 35f2 and Hasselblad 40 (non T*).
Pretty even up, money-wise. How'd I do, do you think?

Cheap and optics in one sentence don't work together.
More equipment than, you might try to cut off the lens from a Holga .
If not, I can always mod it to be a dedicated 'faux anamorphic' lens .
Be useable...

This question on computer glasses reminded me that the next time I need to get a new pair of spectacles I've been thinking of getting photochromic lenses , which darken automatically in sunlight (UV specifically). Been getting sick of having to fiddle...

I had photochromic lenses for many years, and had no problems with screens.
So even bright internal lights won't make them darken indoors .
Photochromic lenses react to the ultraviolet wavelengths of sunlight.
It makes no difference.

Do you not agree that you take a bigger "hit" on selling other brands of lenses versus Canon lenses? At least that's what notice on the buy & sell board.

Some popular lenses, such as the Sigma 150mm macro....
But it can be lens selective.
Of the time 3rd party lenses take a larger hit in both % and actual £$ terms it is also very lens I agree as far as brands such as Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, etc.
