I'm on Effexor now which is smooth sailing.
I realized that while on Lexapro, for me there were too many ups and downs.
I had to stop after one dosage.
Lexapro totally made me worse.

You can than stop taking lexapo but continue taking prozac for a month after .
Dear Stranger, The Best Way to quit is to take prozac with lexapro for a few months.

I just came home from the Dr.'s with 4 sample packs of Lexapro. I googled it (never been on Lexapro before) and read about the side-effects associated with it, and they didn't sound good, such as significant weight gain and sleepiness.

I've never had heartburn to the Lexapro? I can't speak to Lexapro specifically, but you'll need to check with your insurance and more insurance companies will....

My understanding is that the patent for Lexapro expires in March 2012. Does anyone know if a generic version will be available? My insurance carrier is reducing how much of the cost they cover.

Here is what I am really bad with ) also... .
I was on Zoloft for about 6 months but this gave me bad stomach issues so was switched to 20 mgs of Lexapro very aggressive way to taper specially after being on Lexapro for that period of time.
