Can someone tell me realistically what to expect while weaning off of Lexapro and how fast should I do it? I've been talking 10mg/day for about 9 months - but I'm tired of the weight gain!!

Haven't had trouble with lexapro , it just isn't helpig enough. I'm getting switched to prozac now b/c im home for the summer. I'm on the lquids of both. Apparently the process is full dosage for the lexapro and adding a little of the prozac . I did that...

I don't remember having side effects the first time I was on ....
I think Lexapro has some minor side effects but if you want to take it and it helps you Lexapro is expensive, but if it works and gives me my life back I will find the money.

You need to check with your doctor because Lexapro should not be taken with NSAIDS, aspirin, and other pain relievers.
