So, this may seem like a silly question, but if it's a possibility it's worth pursuing:

I didn't see a thread about this but anyway I was with a friend and he got pulled over for not slowing down for an emerg. vehicle...anyway apart from that the cop accuses him of being drunk because he smells booze and pulls out the breathalizer......

There have been a number of people indicating that they are not going to purchase licenses and take their chances at either not getting caught or beating the violation in court.
Just to give you a heads up, there is more to it than that. If you are convicted...
