We just got a notice by certified mail today on a PI patient. It says that two DC's (our office and another guy in town) served liens on this patient. The total amount of the liens comes to $13,440.67. $6,023.89 of the liens are not related...

I don't balance there.
This DC put a lien on this case for his bill for the old accident.
To add that from my understanding, even of the lien is adjudicated, the patient is still liable for a different, unrelated accident.

IRS has form 12277 that can be filed to remove satisfied Federal Liens from your credit report. I'm looking for a similar procedure/form that can be filed, to remove satisfied STATE tax liens, for NEW YORK STATE.

Any inaccuracies can simply be corrected.
ETA: in addition, none of the CRAs in recording of dates .
That the lien is "cancelled", but that doesn't seem to matter to the CRAs.
