Considered LED (light emitting diode) lights? Google "white LED Lights".
I want to add a remote function for a lamp, but all the products that I have seen (X-10, etc) specifically say for incandescent lights only. I know they say this because flourescent bulbs won't work. However, LED bulbs have just recently been available...

I recently tried to use some CFL's on outdoor porch lights with a new X10 switch bulbs around house.
I have few LED quite different.
No problem.
Garage controlled by motion sensor; when car pulls in, light comes on.

The red and green lights wont light the 200 watt outdoor motion sensor light and there were no instructions for setting the motion I....
There is power going to the units.
But now they are not.
Working ok.

I'll bundle up and jog when its -5 to add some outdoor miles.
You guys all make me feel like a pansy...I haven't been outside since early october...and probably wont be till late april.

This isn't a complaint about the Ubiquiti equipment. Just curious if anyone has found settings that work well to capture motion outside without getting constant recordings of bugs, birds, and whatever else might go by. I'm literally recording 30 second...

It's not always good where changing....
I reduce the detect regions as much sensitivity, so you wont miss motion of person and how many pixels to monitor.
With indoor cams where changing light through the windows trigger motion.
