A definition list says what they are, a list to display the data then what the data....
This is a subset of the issue of semantics vs formatting .
Than to have CSS and tables fight each other :-)
Definition lists have semantic meaning.

In our company we use, a calendar-based system like Franklin Planner is probably not going to work, while a list-based system the years and didn't realize it....
Personally, I use the to do list on my Palm PDA, which syncs with Apple iCal.

Actor.Verb( inputs ) -> outputs INTO the phone, so phone.dial....
Scope? When a call is made, the phone number needs to be added to the list of recent outgoing callsphone.dial() , because it's the phone that does the dialing.
