I would have him talk to financial aid at his school .
I would think he would be able to get a lower interest rate on a student loan than a car and he of to the car loan.

Also, techinally they arent a PDL.
Admin charge of £500? Default fees of £140 each/FOS or the CCA .
No exceptions.

The only way a bank will give you a loan is if you have a parent or someone with excellent credit co sign which means that they will pay off the loan if....
As a student you do not have a credit rating so you cannot get a regular loan.

I worked there, here is reality:
Most people earn 35-60k there and only the top 15% earns 6 figures.
The top 15% have all been there 2 years or more, why? because they get paid twice as much as a guy who just started last month DOING THE SAME EXACT THING...

Most places require a 20% down payment so they know you're serious .
If you get a loan a loan, but I wish you luck.
But, yes.
All said no based on limited credit history.
