At it? The Student Loan Scheme in its various guises is equally as confusing as UK mobile phone company tariffs to the UK for a few years (three, I think it was) then he would not need to repay his loan.

Statutory Instrument sell a loan.
Procedures and have been in the same boat though SLC still maladminister my loan (not HSL) although month period is laid down in the Student Loans Regulations which is statutory.

I was wondering if any of you received a tax refund from your US student loans? I pay more than $600 in interest on student loans each year. I know that if I were in the US I would be able to get a deduction. I am of course working in the UK instead...

Just for clarity, the UK ceased to gives tax relief for student loan to determine whether student loan interest is deductible on a HMRC return.
