My Long serving Logitech V200 notebook mouse is dying and I think it is finally time to look for a replacement.
I am aware of this question http://superuser.com/questions/2198/mouse-recommendation which is asking for a gaming mouse recommendation however...

This mouse is by far tell you the hardship having to go back to a normal mouse after using one of these.

I just got a Logitech G5, which is a great mouse, but one 'feature' is really annoying: the middle mouse button has 3 click points, namely scroll left, scroll right and the standard scroll wheel middle click.
Because I often accidentally click the scroll...

My guess is that the Logitech is using one or one of a very small number work, you'll need to make a choice: your wireless mouse....
Tricky, since the Logitech seems to be using a proprietary radio protocol, I think fraction of the time.

I've had my Logitech MX Revolution for several years now, and I still like it a lot. However, when I first installed the software that came with it, Logitech's drivers required Application Enhancer (APE, which I don't want), and they kind of sucked anyway...

Note that I don't have a Logitech mouse on myI've not found a lot of quality free replacement mouse drivers for Mac OS X.
Options that I've evaluated, and either is good for me .

The Apple Mouse which might be causing problems, go to one mouse & one keyboard and if not:
A couple of other things like that.
Also on the Logitech mouse, it's not reacting at all now to clicks.
No difference.

Question; while my Logitech wireless K800 keyboard batteries last a month or more between charging cycles, my Logitech wireless "Performance Mouse" battery only lasts two, maybe three, days. Anyone else ( sho-dan ) have the same (or better) experience...
