I picked one up at TJ'S today. I should brown it first and the put it in the oven, yes? I've only crock potted 'em before.

When it's browned, throw all the other stuff over top and throw it in the oven... .

We eat the pork loin because it is low in fat, because it is low in fat it tends to get dry. refuses to eat pork that is not well done. I think brine may be the solution (yuck yuck). Any suggestions. Dan Johnson What the large print giveth, the fine print...

I wonder if the 4 to 6 was meant for high? It depends on whether you want a sliceable roast and sliced.
Sinloin is the rear-most portion of the loin and is usually cooked to 155F.
