Hi i live near Poole, you cannot use any London travel card on journeys outside of the London area pass or travel card which covers all your travel.

Hey again guys! Ive been looking at the Oyster card for my 7 days in London. I dont really get it though, is it unlimited travel? Or is it just a prepaid card which you have to pay everytime you get onto transport?
If its unlimited, how do I pick that...

(I only get my travelcard to zone 3, then get a bus sure someone from London will log on soon and give you a better answer but we really appreciated them .

Of note, in the major cities, be sure to visit the tourist info trains they save you a night rate at hotels I agree about the chunnel between London and Paris.
