Hmm, I guess my top places would be: London (Hopefully I'll be moving there later this year for my master's *fingers crossed*), Brazil (especially Salvador and Rio), and Cape Town and Dubai are tied.

Misunderstanding your posting, but you're not hoping to do a trip from London to Hadrian's Wall it's worth seeing - then you will at least need to make this a two day trip from London.
