When colleges look at your FAFSA do they only look at EFC or do they actually look at income?
They use your EFC to determine your financial aid amount, not your income. This is because there is an obvious difference if someone makes 50,000 a year and is single with no kids vs a person who makes 50,000 with six or seven kids.

Do you think ugly people look less ugly after you get used to how they look?
I think the word ugly has come to mean not especially attractive. I've only ever seen a couple of people who could be described as ugly, so I've never had to get used to how people look.

You might just be one of those people who doesn't get a postitive hpt until several days after AF is due. That happened with my first child - I didn't get a positive hpt until 4 days after AF was due. If no AF today, and temps still up tomorrow, test again tomorrow or the day after.

Friend looking at a 2000 BMW 528, anything she should look out for?
I've driven that same car and have to say it is a very smooth ride, but very boring. Not an exciting car to drive, but with depreciating prices it can be a good value. I found the interior quality to be low for BMW, and quite a few plastics were already broken after 5 years of use. Find a nice one and maintain it, and she'll be happy.
