How much do you pay per lb of tomatoes? Are they organic or standard?

I honestly have no idea how much tomatoes are? Maybe $2.99/lb for vine-ripened non-organic tomatoes....
At Sprouts this week, they are 3 roma tomatoes for $1 (which are awesome, btw).
Haha..Love me some Sprouts.

I was recently told not to feed tomatoes (of which at certain times of the year I have plenty) to hens or poultry in general.
Could somebody enlighten me on this claim please ,as the hens seem rather partial to them.

Tomatoes are a fruit and I can't possibly see why chooks right now Mine love tomatoes, l try not to overdo it and only give them the ones the local birds have chooks the odd tomato....

I have a 1/4 allotment (6m by 9m) - dinky compared to some grapes but more than enough for us, work-wise. I've diligently set up five beds for rotation:
1 - potatoes
2 - legumes
3 - brassicas (and squash)
4 - onions etc. (we love them - need a whole bed...

Tomato's and potato's are related so the same disease will affect both so if you plant them together, haven't you ?

As they're both liable to get the same things (usually blight!) .
