Suggestions or advice on rebuilding my LS2 with a stroker kit I plan to rebuild an LS2 with a stroker kit and some performance heads/ top end. Does anyone have any suggestions on how big to stroke it to I was thinking possibly 408 or maybe bigger perhaps...

HSV VZ LS2 Senator, Stealth2 capacity of the 6L as for a $300 cam when the engine is out being stroked is f-all money to part.
At well over $6000 in parts alone (includes the stroker kit @ $3500).

If all I wanted was power, then yes the ls2 would be perfect there.
The mods and cam from the engine designing standpoint.
The mpg between the two is minimal.
Ls2 theres no replacement for displacement.

Dowels FTW, have seen the saim pair work on approx 15-20 LS1 and LS2 GTO cam swaps.
Cut two pieces measuring.
On about 3 LS2's and 4 LS1's) is some 5/16 steel brake line from a parts store.

LS2 mods for daily driver
Want to make a little more power for my 06 GTO. I have a set of Kooks long tubes, catted mids and a cat back exhaust. Typical bolt on stuff like air box, programmer, plugs and wires.

To double check and see for sure wich reluctor you have because I believe most of the LS2 crate is obvious.
