Reviewing other lyrics is an important part of learning about writing. When you can see what works and doesn't work in other lyrics, you can apply it to your lyrics. And we are here to learn, aren't we ?

I have written a lot of lyrics and would love to submit them to publishing companies. I already have them registered with BMI. I would like to send them in and was wondering what sort of press kit should I put together...

It's not that great lyrics won''t get you anywhere, great lyrics are very important but, understand, a great lyric that do look for pop songs today are more interested in the beat than the lyrics.
